SSBC marks 30 years

Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation will be marking its 30th anniversary in 2006. As with many success stories, SSBC started off small and through years of hard work and innovation, has grown into the leading manufacturer of performance disc brakes.

"My parents, H. George and Marcia, started the company in the basement of our house. I used to come home after school and help out," says Michael Jonas, President. "In 30 years, we've gone from a basement with 300 sq. ft. to a manufacturing and warehousing facility with over 30,000 sq. ft. That is a testament to our quality, innovation and employees."

SSBC pioneered the process of stainless steel sleeving leaky brake calipers, which is where the company's name originated.

Currently, SSBC offers an extensive line of performance disc brake conversion and upgrade kits for virtually all popular vehicles on the road today, including muscle cars, trucks & SUVs, late model vehicles, street rods and sport compacts. It is best known for its line of Force 10® multi-piston aluminum calipers, which are the feature component in many of its disc brake kits.
