SSBC Wins GM SEMA Design Award for 3rd Year in a Row
Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation is proud to announce that its new Force 10® V8 8-Piston Aluminum Caliper won the prestigious GM Design Award for "Best High Performance Product" at the 2005 SEMA Show.
This is the third year in a row that General Motors has selected an SSBC product to receive a Design Award.
General Motors presents a limited number of Design awards at the SEMA SHOW each year, and SSBC is honored to have received one for three consecutive years.
"All of our products are designed with one primary goal: quality," says Michael Jonas, SSBC President. "We are honored to be recognized by General Motors. Our goal is to make it four in a row next year."
The V8 caliper is a new design and features 8 stainless steel pistons. Initial applications will be for late model trucks, including the Ford F-250 and F-350; other applications will follow. A few prototype kits were displayed on select vehicles at the show.
SSBC has won a GM SEMA Design Award in 2003, 2004 and 2005. SSBC won the "Best High Performance Product" award in 2003 for its Force 10® Tri-Power 3-Piston Aluminum Caliper. In 2004, they won the "Best GM Mid-Size Truck" for their Chevrolet Colorado project vehicle.
