Simple complete premium Drum to Disc brake conversion kit.

Easy Bolt on parts allows you to do this conversion in your garage

  • Complete with master cylinder, forged 2" drop-spindles, low dust pads, original style caliper mounting brackets, splash shields, adjustable proportioning valve, adapter lines, grease seals, wheel bearings, grease caps, DOT rubber flex hoses, spindle nuts and hardware.
  • Zinc plated calipers with period correct inlet.
  • New slider pins, anti rattle clips and U.S. MADE Carbon Metallic pads.
  • Our U.S. MADE adjustable proportioning valve ensures prefect braking power to rear wheels.
  • NOTE: Kit will not fit some factory 14" wheels including most Pontiac factory wheels. 15 wheels suggested
  • Rotors available with optional Turbo slotting or Big Bite cross drilling and slotting, both with Xtra Life plating.

I installed this kit on my 69 Camaro R/S a year ago. The parts are all well built and nicely machined. The instructions were well laid out and easy to understand. Everything needed is included in the kit. I may add that the 2" drop on a 69 Camaro is a lot! You will probably want to stay with stock ride height springs with this kit. I had 1 1/2" lower springs as well and I wound up with the inner fenders resting on the front tires.
It took a full day to complete the job but upon finishing and then getting to take the first test drive, well, all I can say is why did I wait so long. The stopping power of this set-up is awesome, very precise. If you are still running around on drum brakes like I was, do yourself a favor and upgrade now! It is cheap insurance at twice the price. My only regret is not doing the rears at the same time. But then that is why I am on the website tonight. I will be converting the rears with an SSB conversion kit ASAP!
All in all, I am very pleased with the craftsmanship and overall quality of the SSB Kits. Happy motoring and remember, build 'em to drive!
