Q: Dealer or Distributor Returns

Prior to sending a defective parts return in Distributor must contact either Chris Harris at c.harris@ssbrakes.com or Robert Kozurkiewicz at bobkay@ssbrakes.com to receive an RMA number. ? Distributor is to provide a list of products being returned with a valid explanation of the concerns for each part being returned. ? If the parts are coming from different store locations, each location will get its own RMA number associated with that stores return (unless already pre-arranged). ? Once the defective or returned items arrive at SSBC it will be inspected and tested after which a determination is made whether it’s approved for replacement/credit or denied. At this time either Chris Harris or Rob Kozurkiewicz would be in touch with distributor via email giving the results of our findings and whether the distributor wanted any denied items returned ( at their cost) or scrapped. Also at this time you will receive the credit memo for any and all approved items.

Customer/Distributor has 72 hours to verify kit is complete and undamaged from shipping.

If any parts are missing or damaged customer/distributor needs to contact SSBC and follow the return policy within the 72 hour time frame.

Q: Returns

NEED TO RETURN A PART?

* Customer is to call the SSBC Technical Assistance line (Toll free 800-448- 7722 or 716-759- 8666) to get RMA (return material authorization) number. Any return must have a RMA number issued prior to the item being returned, without a RMA number no credit can be issued.

* Customer must provide original proof of purchase upon requesting a RMA for any warranty concern

* Whenever possible return items in the original box and always with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box.

* Any returned item must have the shipping paid by customer; SSBC does not cover shipping costs of any returned items.

* RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days if the product is not returned in that time, the customer needs to contact SSBC for a new RMA number.

* All returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

* Once the defective or returned items arrive at SSBC it will be inspected and tested at that point a determination is made whether it’s approved for replacement/credit or denied, and the customer is notified.

No parts will be exchanged until SSBC receives original parts unless there is prior approval from either Chris Harris or Robert Kozurkiewicz , along with customers credit card (customer has 30 days to return parts before credit card will be charged)

NOTE: Under no circumstance should any product(s) or part(s) be returned without a return material authorization number (RMA). Any part which in our opinion shows evidence of being used, or installed contrary to SSBC instruction, defaced, subjected to improper handling, packaging or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund or warranty consideration.

Q: Warranty Policy

1 Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty

Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation (SSBC) warrants to the original purchaser that all products of our manufacture are free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use, driving conditions and service for the period of one (1) year, except stainless steel parts which are covered under warranty against corrosion for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle. SSBC parts used in race applications - such as rotors and brake pads - and improperly installed components are not covered under warranty. Components which are purchased from other suppliers and resold by SSBC shall conform to the Warranty Policy of that supplier.

Our obligation under this Warranty is limited to making good at our factory any part which shall be returned to us, freight prepaid, and which our examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to have been defective when shipped, our obligation being limited to the repair or exchange of any part or parts which may thus prove defective. Our Warranty does not cover any costs for installation, re- installation, or removal of any warranty product. A return material authorization number and a copy of the original invoice are required prior to returning merchandise. An unauthorized return voids the Warranty. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. We assume no liability for incidental or consequential damages including the cost of diagnosis, cost of replacement parts or installation labor, loss of vehicle use, loss of time, inconvenience or any other expenses.

The foregoing Warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties (whether written, oral or implied) including Warranty of merchantability in other respects than expressly set forth above and Warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and of all other obligations or liabilities on our part. We neither assume nor authorize any other person or entity to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of our products. This Warranty shall not apply to our products or any part thereof which have been subject to accident, negligence, alteration, abuse, misuse or dis-assembly. We make no Warranty whatsoever in respect to accessories labor or parts not supplied by us. The term “Original Purchaser” as used in this Warranty shall be deemed to mean that customer to whom the product was originally sold. There are no warranties which extend beyond the face of the product hereof.
